Hello Everybody,
I am Subash Chandra Bir, Teacher of Yusuf M.T High School, Comilla, Bangladesh. I am very happy to inform you that I was also a participant of 1st RI-INTEL MT Training. I think 21st century education system is a very essential method for our classroom. In Bangladesh we follow the teacher centered learning which can not make the students as an active student. But from this training we achieved knowledge that in our teaching methodology we must follow the student centered method which can ensure student participation. This training is technology based training. In Bangladesh generally we do not use technology to give lessons in our classrooms. But I think our students will get much interest if we can apply the technology based learning through student centered learning approach. In the men time I got a little bit opportunity to apply the student centered approach in my classroom. Students seems very much active in this method and the also got very interest to do the activity.I think this concept should be included in the Teachers Training of Bangladesh. It is a matter of hope that recently Bangladesh Govt. started some training based on student centered learning for teachers. I would like to give Thanks to Intel & RI for conducting this fruitful training and give me the opportunity to participate here.I hope I will try to do everything as per need in my school to establish the 21st century education method.

Thanks

I am Jalall Uddin Sarker. I am an assistant teacher of Uttar Badda Islamia Kamil Madrasah .Badda Dhaka-1212. I am very happy to get change to participate in “Intel teach program”. I learnt many things through the program. Especially I learnt clearly about student centered teaching methods. I could exchange my idea and skills with other teachers by the program. I think this program will help me to prepare myself as a citizen of 21st century. I also think that our student and other teacher will be benefited from me. After taking the training now I am more confidence on me. There were three expert and experienced trainer named Eather Newaz, Lazina Sarmin, Mahbub Alamgir. Their presentation and teaching technique attract me very much. I enjoyed the program very much. I would like to request to brother Nazrul to arrange such a program for long duration. Thanks to all.

Hi,
I am Mr.Sajahan Chowdhury from Chittagong Steel Mills High School.I am very glad to RI and Intel that they give me chance to participate at such a wonderful training.I would like to say about the training at a little word "Real Preparation of 21st century skills".
We know we are running on old teacher centered approach, but after this training I feel myself that now it's time to change. From new year I would like to think myself not as a teacher of students but a co-ordinator of students.I believe students will love that very much. They will find them self an important role maker of class room.

I also want to share my personal achievements at the training. That is I got 2nd prize at Action plan presentation and also got a little prize for Role playing of Teacher vs Student centered approach. Thanks to all.

This is good to see teachers are posting their comments on this blog. It would be great to hear some of the challenges they have been experiencing in implementing their action plan.
Mahbub Alamgir Comment by Mahbub Alamgir on November 10, 2009 at 8:39pm
Dear 21st Century Teachers, it's good to hear that you are also planning to organize training for your colleagues. Yes, it's true that there are few challenges to make 21st century classroom environments in our schools but it is not impossible. If you can train up 21st century teaching skills to your colleagues that you have learned from Intel Getting Started course it would be easier for you to implement.

As we have learned four steps (Plan It, Do It, Review It & Share It) for critical thinking.
So, if you think your training requires extra technical support then let me know, I will try with my level best.

Thanks.
